“Delicious, fresh food served at this popular restaurant. They offer all the classic Australian-Chinese favourites, plus succulent BBQ duck and a variety of Cantonese delights. The Three Cups Chicken, served sizzling in a hotpot, is a standout dish—full of flavour and highly recommended great value and BYO. More

The portion is big and good quality of food. They separate the soup and noodle for take away which is a considerate and smart way to keep the noodle from being too soggy. The roasted duck noodle soup is really good, exactly the same taste … More

I can’t believe we’ve already been here 6 times in just one month 🤣! The restaurant was taken over by a Hong Kong couple in 2025, renovated for three months, and officially reopened on 7 January 2026.
The best value for money has to be their roasted duck 🦆 — half a duck for only $21, such a bargain! The skin is fragrant and the meat is tender and juicy. At that price, you really can’t go wrong.
On one visit, there were eight of us and someone ordered the sweet and sour pork 🍍. I wasn’t expecting much, but it was surprisingly impressive! Crispy on the outside, tender inside, and the sauce wasn’t overly sweet. I usually don’t eat much of this dish, but I couldn’t stop myself from going back for more 🤣.
The crispy noodle with king prawns 🦐 was another pleasant surprise. The prawns were big and bouncy, and the crispy noodles were fried to perfection. Once the rich gravy was poured over, it was so addictive that everyone kept eating non-stop.
The Fujian fried rice and Yangzhou fried rice were fairly average — nothing particularly memorable.
When I saw “king prawn wontons,” I thought it would be Hong Kong–style prawn wontons 🦐, but it turned out the pork wontons and the prawns were served separately 😅. That was a little disappointing.
The prawn toast wasn’t too oily, and the sesame flavour was really fragrant — definitely a plus.
The beef brisket hot pot deserves a special mention 👏. The brisket was incredibly tender — probably pressure-cooked — and even the radish was braised until soft and full of flavour 👍.
If you like vegetables, you can order the salted egg & century egg with your choice of greens 🥬 — a nice lighter dish to balance the meal. My in-laws especially love the dry-fried green beans 🥢; once it hits the table, it disappears in no time 😋…

Definitely a hidden local gem in Waitara and Hornsby area. The food is amazingly prepared and delivered by their friendly staff. Try their signature roasted duck, and you will understand why they are so popular during dinner time. Their 2- or 3-dish combo represents a nice price for high quality dishes.
